Started setting its footprint since year 2006, AmazingMelaka.com is one of the early pioneers in the blogsphere context for Melaka’s tourism. As a credible information source, for years, AmazingMelaka.com is ranked in the first page of Google Seach results for Melaka-related search phrases.

However, the development of tourism sector has undergone rapid growth from year to year. There are more returning tourists than first-timers. And every quarter, a number of new hotels and guest houses are setting their presence in Melaka city. Tourists are also getting more sophisticated in the reach for information sources, thanks to Google Maps, Facebook and Twitter.

Acknowledging the changes mentioned above, AmazingMelaka.com is completely rebooted in the 3rd quarter of 2011, to align with the following new directions and objectives:

  • Offer up-to-date tourism information from the eyes of Malaccans
  • Offer more suggestions on travel tips and itinerary guides, instead of being yet-another-site introducing landmarks
  • Offer linkage of information to related geo-location and social media sites, for multidimensional perspectives
